Large-scale communication satellite constellations, also known as megaconstellations, have become popular. However, the unprecedently large scale of these megaconstellations also brings numerous challenges, some of which are hidden and not well explored. These satellite constellations are expected to be a game changer by realizing the worldwide satellite Internet service.
Kelvinairspace has the capacity to service the maintenance of the satellite constellations whilst avoiding the fuel costs of repeatedly traveling to and from Earth's gravitational field, as its majority of the materials mined, principally water, would be destined for use in space, Kelvinairspace gives expertise in processing, power generation, or in-space manufacturing hardware and equipment.
We are laying the groundwork required to make space mining a reality. Kelvinairspace is the first company in Africa to launch this futuristic and innovative project.

Kelvinairspace’ interest is in how we can use the resources on the Moon to make human exploration of the solar system as economical as possible.
In-situ resource utilization also known as ISRU is a concept which involves identifying, extracting and processing material from the lunar surface
and interior and converting it into something useful: oxygen for breathing, electricity, construction materials and even rocket fuel.
The world is moving towards renewable energy sources because of climate change and needs those resources from the Moon. Kelvinairspace’ goal
is to use technological developments to meet these objectives.
